Cherry Pop Studio is so proud to celebrate its one year anniversary.

I would like to thank everyone who supported me from the very beginning.. pushing me to turn my hobby into a successful business.

Creating quality work using my voice, whether normal or morphed, takes lots of time and creativity. As a perfectionist, I make sure every gesture I sell is top notch. I take pride in being one of the best shops in Second Life.

Stop Content Theft!!!

I was in total disbelief when a Cherry Pop Studio customer – SL resident: Nichole Beerbaum – turned out to be a thief! She purchased tons of my female gestures fatpacks, copied them using a recording program and uploaded them to marketplace to sell as her own.

I discovered the theft by woman’s intuition.. that’s right. Something in my tummy told me this particular avatar was up to something as I received many offline messages about fatpack deliveries. While I normally do not check up on all customers, I couldn’t dismiss the feeling. Lo and behold, I searched her name on marketplace and found all of my items there. I contacted her immediately and told her to remove the items or face disciplinary actions from LL. After several exchanges she agreed to remove them but the damage was already done. A thief is a still a thief.

Creating quality work using my voice, which I own and is part of my identity (therefore copyrighted), takes lots of time and creativity. I take pride in being one of the best shops in Second Life and do not appreciate those who simply steal my gestures!

Anyone can create gestures in Second Life but you cannot re-create my voice. SL residents should think twice before stealing actual female voice recordings from other avatars. It’s a small world and sooner or later you will get caught!
